“Daily” “Roundup” 3/29/12

And so concludes the inexplicable two-game Japan miniseries:

Ichiro did not get a hit, ending his March with four hits.
-h/t to MLB.com’s Greg Johns, the record for most hits in March is five, held by Jeff Kent and Toby Hall. Kent did it in one (13 inning) game.

In an Oakland-Seattle game, every run scored on a homer.

Seattle caveat applies, but 8 innings, 1 run, 3 hits for Bartolo Colon.

Similarly, Oakland caveat applies, but no Seattle pitcher has been charged with more than one run.

We’re almost there, folks. Just a few more days.
