- In three of them, including tonight’s, he’s given up six runs.
– He’s pitching against the Mariners tonight.
— He’s allowed one run or less in 10 other starts.

James McDonald has a 2.37 ERA.
- And the Pirates have a better record than the Giants, who they were playing.

The Tigers are over .500!
- At the beginning of the day, there were only three AL teams under .500.
– There are now four. And one of them is in the AL East! GASP.
