The Astros won two games in a row!!!
- Two WALKOFF wins, too.
– In related news: geez, Milwaukee bullpen, we knew you were bad, but…
— This is the first time the Astros have won back-to-back games since June.
—- And in the last calendar year, they have only won two games in extra innings.

Brent Lillibridge homered today.
- Against the Red Sox, his former team.

Johan Santana: 1.1 IP, 8 ER. I’m sort of impressed.
- Four starts ago, his ERA was 2.76. Now it’s 4.58 (thanks to @drewsilv).
– Just for details’ sake, in those four starts: 0-4, 17.36 ERA, 14 IP with 27 runs and 36 hits (including seven home runs).
— Johan’s 1.1 IP, 6 R outing in Atlanta isn’t his worst outing this season, then.
—- It’s not his worst outing against the Braves!
—– Not to keep picking on the Mets, but Jason Bay has eleven RBI. Total.

Jason Marquis had a no-hitter through six innings.
- For the Padres!
– He ended up throwing a complete game two-hitter.
— AJ Burnett actually got a loss. Bizarro YCPB.

Cliff Lee is 2-7.
- With an ERA of 3.85.

The Mariners have scored seven runs so far
- in a game Dan Haren started against them.
– Did you know Dan Haren’s ERA this year is 4.68?
