Short slate of games tonight

—-The Pirates are now 50 games under .500. Yes, 50.
——The Mets’ Lucas Duda has three career hits–and all of them are doubles.

–The Indians won on a walk-off error.

–Via @soxmachine: Brent Morel has two more extra-base hits than Manny Ramirez in a White Sox uniform.
—The White Sox had an 8-2-5 DP (Rios-Pierzynski-Morel).
—-Pitching lines in this game:

Pavano: 5 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO, 3 HR 95 pitches, 60 strikes
Buehrle: 5 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO, 1 HR 99 pitches, 66 strikes

Despite the three home runs, Pavano won the game.

–The Giants’ game is still going on, but unless they blow a four run lead, the Padres’ will no longer be in first.

–In the San Diego/St. Louis game, Cunningham went 1-4 and saw eight pitches; Ryan Ludwick went 1-4 as well. He saw 24 pitches.
—–Yadier Molina has eight stolen bases this season.
