–The San Francisco Giants had a nine run second inning…
—It included two Juan Uribe home runs.
—-One of them was a grand slam.

–YCPB Poster Boy Jose Bautista hit his fiftieth, 50 home run today. Via @bkabak, in his entire career up to this point, he’d hit 58….total.
—Felix Hernandez pitched a two hitter; he lost and is now 12-12 on the season.
—–King Felix did walk four, though…

–Javier Vazquez hit three batters in a row, the first pitcher to do that since Jeff Weaver.
—By the end of this season, Robbie CanĂ³ will have walked more times in 2010 than in 2008 and 2009 combined (via @mikeaxisa)

–Cliff Lee walked back-to-back batters. It’s the first time he’s done this in 80 starts. Via @aandro

–The Dodgers, going into today’s game, were 73-79. In their entire history, they had never had that record at any point.
—-Jay Gibbons is apparently their clean-up hitter.

–Neither the Royals, nor the Indians had a hit with RISP. The Royals won 4-2.
